Norman Scott, died 1918

Geoff Reynolds says, “I would like to pay tribute to another Son of Blantyre. Private 17084 Norman Scott 10th Battalion Cameronians (Scottish Rifles) attached to 42 Bty TM. Norman was killed in action on 25th July 1918 aged 23.

He was the son of Agnes Scobie Scott (later Reynolds) of 114 Glasgow Road Blantyre. Norman was the half brother of my Grandfather William Scott Reynolds. (And therefore my Great Uncle). He is remembered with honour at the Thiepval Cemetery and Memorial. ” For our tomorrow he gave his today”
